Die einjährige Pflanze wird zwischen 50 und 70 cm hoch. Man findet sie an Wegrändern und auf Feldern. Der Stiel und die Blätter sind behaart. Die Blütezeit der leuchtend gelben Blüten ist von Mai bis Juli. Als Bachblüte wird Mustard verordnet bei Depressionen ohne erkennbaren Grund, schlechter Laune, Lustlosigkeit, endogene Depressionen, Melancholie, Freudlosigkeit, Humorlosigkeit, Weltenschmerz, Traurigkeit, Schwermut, Niedergeschlagenheit und Verstimmungen. Im transformierten Zustand bewirkt Mustard Freude, Klarheit, Stabilität und bringt Licht in das Leben. Mustards are several plant species in the genera Brassica and Sinapis. The plant is believed to be native to the southern Mediterranean region of Europe, and has been cultivated for thousands of years. The plant itself can grow from 2 to 8 feet tall with racemes of small yellow flowers. Mustard is the Bach Flower Remedy for deep gloom and depression that descends for no apparent reason out of a clear blue sky.
